Burnt saint trench

$1,495.00

A study in destruction, reconstruction, and controlled chaos. The Burnt Saints Hand-Painted Coat transforms classic black tailoring into a piece of wearable artwork through layers of hand-applied pigment, distressed pattern, raw markings, and scorched-looking color.

The elongated black silhouette is framed by hand-painted antique-gold and burnt-ochre lapels before dissolving into deep rust, crimson, bronze, and black abstract artwork across the body. Oversized floral forms emerge through the front as if partially erased, while distressed markings and irregular surface treatments give the coat the character of an aged canvas discovered underground.

The sleeves introduce another layer of texture with repeating ornamental artwork fading in and out of the black ground. Raw-edge cuffs deliberately interrupt the otherwise tailored construction.

From the back, the design becomes dramatically restrained. A predominantly black field is disrupted by smoky tonal markings and a distressed circular HRMNEWYORK graphic positioned between the shoulders, allowing the artwork to feel discovered rather than simply printed onto the garment.

Every irregularity, brushstroke, fade and distressed mark is intentional. The result sits somewhere between tailoring, streetwear and contemporary art—exactly where HRMNEWYORK likes to cause trouble.
